Nikolay Svinarov enjoys over 30 years of experience as a lawyer and as a holder of key positions in the Executive and the Legislature.
His experience includes some of the landmark cases over the last 30 years.
Mr. Svinarov served as Secretary General of the Supreme Bar Council between 1999 and 2001.
During his term as Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense between 2001 and 2005, Mr. Svinarov played a key role in the accession of Bulgaria into NATO and the implementation of important reforms that paved the way for Bulgaria’s integration into the EU.
Between 2005 and 2009, Mr. Svinarov served as a Member of Parliament and a Chairman of the Standing Committee on Internal Security and Public Order in the 40th National Assembly.
His extensive experience spans a wide range of cases and makes him an expert in Commercial, Criminal, Civil and Administrative law among others.
